2023 Grey Cup MVP Henoc Muamba helps Resurect Senator O’Connor High School Football Program After 6 Years.

Reining Canadian professional football MVP Henoc Muamba, a Congolese Canadian football player and Captain for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. As the ARGO’s march towards another league post season appearance, the Greater Toronto Area claims the beginnings of Muamba’s high school career and his high level of performance that continued today where his 109th Grey Cup stats included 3 tackles and an interception in a 24-23 win over Winnipeg where he was crowned Most Valuable Player and Most Valuable Canadian.

With the help of the Canadian Tire Jump Start Program and full support of the Toronto Argonauts, Henoc is continuing his equally high level of community commitment. Muamba is currently focused on the return of football to Senator O’Connor College School, previously known as John J. Lynch High School until 1967 is a Separate high school in the Parkwoods neighborhood in the North York district of Toronto, Ontario. O’Connor has been without a football program for almost 7 years.

The students will be open to the surrounding area and the high school football program spearheaded by former student athlete and now teacher and coach Noel Carrabs, in Partnership with Henoc Muamba and wife Jessica Muamba of the (Henoc Muamba Foundation). “Football provides many attributes to the student adding to their future success, currently absent from their overall wellbeing” says Coach Carrabs.

Starting at 10am sharp on September 2nd, 2023, at O’Connor High School and lasting until 2pm. The event will be highlighted by fundamental football instruction and a motivational speech from Henoc and his wife Jessica, focusing on the importance of football, family, nutrition and sports, and how it affect the future of the student /athletes’ mental and physical well-being and its influence on their parents and family members.
