The Henoc Muamba Foundation is dedicated to empowering youth through sports, providing them with memorable experiences, mentorship, and a strong sense of community. Our foundation aims to bridge the gap between graduating from high school and graduating in life.
Our Founder
Henoc Muamba, is a remarkable Congolese-Canadian football player known for his illustrious
career in the Canadian Football League (CFL). His journey began in 2011 when he was
selected first overall by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the CFL Draft, making history as the
first player from St. Francis Xavier University to receive this honor. Muamba’s impact in the
league was undeniable, earning accolades such as the Grey Cup Most Valuable Player and
Grey Cup Most Valuable Canadian in 2022, with his current team The Toronto Argonauts,
becoming the second player ever to achieve both distinctions. His professional career has seen
him play for multiple teams, including NFL teams Indianapolis Colts and The Dallas
Cowboys, showcasing exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.
