Meet the founder
Henoc Muamba
Former CFL & NFL Linebacker · Founder, Muamba Foundation
Henoc Muamba's journey to professional football was anything but ordinary. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and raised in Montreal, he earned his place in the Canadian Football League through relentless work ethic and an unshakeable belief in his own potential — qualities he now passes on to the next generation.
Over a career spanning the CFL and NFL, Henoc played for the Toronto Argonauts, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Indianapolis Colts, and Chicago Bears. He was named a CFL All-Star and earned a reputation not just as a dominant linebacker, but as a leader in every locker room he entered.
When his playing days ended, Henoc didn't step away from the field — he stepped toward the community. He founded the Muamba Foundation with a simple conviction: the discipline, resilience, and teamwork that shaped him as an athlete could shape an entire generation of young people.

The Muamba Foundation exists to impact youth experiencing challenges in their worlds. From mental health and identity to purpose and belonging. Through Public speaking and on-on-one mentorship, we meet young people where they are and walk with them toward where they could be.

A pro career built on grit
Drafted into the CFL — began his professional career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Named a CFL All-Star linebacker, cementing his status as one of the league's elite defenders
Signed with the Indianapolis Colts, making his NFL debut
